With a unique style Alfred Matias entered the world of music in his native Dominican Republic. At age 14, big dreams, aspirations and a natural knack for rhythm was the clear path into the music world. Alfred’s ability to read the crowd, passion for music and innovation is how he quickly gained respect and opportunities for growth within the industry. By age 17, Space Dance Club was the first major professional experience in whereby always keeping an energetic dance floor he position himself within the industry. Alfred attended the local National School of Broadcasting giving him the privilege and hands on experience of working for one of the hottest radio stations in Dominican Republic.

Soon after on 2005, Alfred moved to the United States in where looking for innovation he became known as "Pengwin". Despite his Latino roots, he was influenced by the Electro House and Progressive House music. With great response in the industry and followers, he build a unique image with his always unique style. Making Miami his home, “The Pengwin” also toured the states, playing at different clubs in: Philadelphia, New Jersey, Boston, New York, Tennessee, and Chicago. Gaining much popularity, on 2011 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he was presented the opportunity to be the resident DJ at LAMEGA 96.5 FM as a radio personality mixing live on air. " Pengwin,” has played at the hottest clubs in Atlanta, Opera, Gold Room, Havana Club, Fuego, Purple Rain, Tongue & Groove, Rio Club. He has also being part of major events: Blackout Music Festival, Summerfest Music Festival and recently appeared as a guest DJ in TomorrowWorld. "Pengwin" was approached by cloud land music to release his first 2 single EP and with great success, he is currently working on creating his own style of music remixing top and rising artist of today.
